The beetroot diet is a 3-day diet that includes beetroot and other foods that don’t provide your body with adequate nutrients or calories. It’s a very low calories diet of about 700 calories a day. You eat three meals a day with no snacking between meals.

For proteins, you get a small amount of lean protein from chicken, tuna, eggs, pork, or shrimp.

Dairy products you have a choice between skim milk, yogurt, or low-fat cheese.

Veggies that are low in carbs include beets, cauliflower, tomatoes, celeriac, zucchini, or radish.

For dinner, you get the largest meal that has 249 calories consisting of one serving of fruit, green veggies, beet juice, and two servings of protein.

Tuna steak.

One cup of beet juice.




Drink lots of water to stay hydrated so that you don’t get headaches.

Teenagers and the elderly shouldn’t be on a beetroot diet because their bodies are in need of a lot of nutrients. Also pregnant and breastfeeding mothers shouldn’t be on restrictive diets unless recommended by the doctor.
