How to make the perfect beetroot shake

Beetroot and carrot smoothie


  • 1 peeled and sliced beetroot
  • 1 orange peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup red grapes
  • 1 peeled and sliced ginger
  • ½ cup red grapes
  • 1 peeled carrot and sliced
  • 4 ounces green tea


Peel and slice the beetroot, orange, ginger, and carrot.

Put all the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.

Serve and enjoy.

Blueberry beet smoothie


  • 1 small peeled and diced beetroot
  • 1 cup mixed frozen blueberries or mixed berries
  • ¼ cup frozen pineapple
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt nonfat
  • ½ cup milk or unsweetened almond milk
  • Optional 1-2 tsp. honey
  • Optional ground flaxseed or hempseed


Put milk, beets, blueberries, Greek yogurt, and pineapples in a blender and blend until smooth. Lightly steam the beets to get smooth.

If you want your smoothie to be sweeter, add honey or dates and blend again.

Drink immediately or put it in the fridge for up to 1 day.
